Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park

The dancing and musical fountains are based on the current multimedia technology, providing high versatility in programming as well as in playback to various Indian and Western musical themes. A number of fountain patterns, with distinct heights, develop into formations creating an illusion of a folk or group dance. The fountain is located in the heart of the city on the Raj Bhavan Road in the old LRDE Complex.

The Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain was commissioned in the year 1996 as part of the beautification plan for the city of Bangalore. The name of the fountain is a tribute given to the first female Prime Minister of India, Smt. Indira Gandhi.
